Carved stone post by the B5026, in parish of ECCLESHALL (STAFFORD District), Northwest of Vernon Yonge Arms, Croxtonbank, hidden in undergrowth, on Southwest side of road. Erected by the Stafford, Sandon, Eccleshall turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (Woore / 8¼) : : (Eccleshall / 4) : Staffordshire HER.
