Carved stone post by the A38, in parish of CHUDLEIGH (TEIGNBRIDGE District), Harcombe Garage, 30m East of entrance, in brambles beside boundary fence, on East side of road. Exeter tombstone, erected by the Exeter turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- VIII MILES FROM EXON Carved benchmark on lower face (partially erased). Grade II listed.
