Carved stone post by the UC road (was A590), in parish of STAVELEY IN CARTMEL (SOUTH LAKELAND District), West of Whitestone Enclosure, opposite Barrow Banks gateway, against wall, on West side of road. Lancs, CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / ULVERSTON 10 MLS / BARROW / 18¼ : : STAVELEY : : TO / GRANGE 5¾ MLS / KENDAL 16 / LANCASTER 27 : Listed. Milestone Society National ID: LA_LABA27.
