Carved stone post by the A605, in parish of ASHTON (EAST NORTHAMPTONSHIRE District), junction with lane to Cotterstock, on the verge, North side of road. Oundle stone, erected by the Peterborough & Wellingborough turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 1 / MILE / TO / OUNDLE : : 12 / MILES / TO / PETERBORO : Grade II listed.
