The milestone is located west of the junction with Longfield Road, on the old Roman Road, Akeman Street, on the south side of road. Allotments are behind the hedge. Parish of Tring (Dacorum District). Metal post, Sparrows Herne Casting design, erected by the Sparrows Herne turnpike trust in the 19th century Lost since 1970, probably during road widening. Inscription reads:- AYLESBURY / 6 : : LONDON / 32 : : TRING / 1 / BERKHAMSD / 6 Hertfordshire HER & St Albans UAD.
