Metal plate attached to stone post by the A39, in parish of FARMBOROUGH (BATH AND NORTH EAST SOMERSET District), Bath Road, Farmborough village, junction with Hunstrete Road, on roadside grass bank, on North side of road. Bath incised iron plate, erected by the Bath turnpike trust in the 18th century. Badly painted inscription reads:- To Batb 9m Milestone Society National ID: SO_BAGL09.
