Carved stone post by the UC road (was B3207), in parish of HALWELL AND MORELEIGH (SOUTH HAMS District), Moreleigh, Place Barton Farm, South side of first fork in village, in hedge, hard on road edge at bend, on South side of road. Modbury granite triangle, erected by the Kingsbridge & Dartmouth turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- To / Mod(by) / 7 : : To / (D)artmo / 9 : Carved benchmark on left face.
