Cast iron post by the A371, in parish of EVERCREECH (MENDIP District), Natterjack Inn, Arthur's Bridge, on grass verge, on West side of road. Plated iron casting, erected by the Shepton Mallet turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : SHEPTON / MALLET / 5 : : WEY / MOUTH / 43 : : CASTLE / CARY / 3 : Grade II listed.
