Carved stone post by the A4137, in parish of HENTLAND (District), Chapel Tump, in hedge, on West side of road. Whitchurch Monmouth Roman stone, erected by the Whitchurch & Llangarren turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- To (Mo)nmouth IX Miles Carved benchmark front mid bottom.
