Carved stone post by the A414, in parish of WOODHAM MORTIMER (MALDON District), 100m Northeast of Tom Tit Lane, adjacent to bus lay-by, by the road, on North side of road. Erected by the Epping & Ongar turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (Maldon / 3) : : (Chelmsford / 7) : Grade II listed.
