Carved stone post by the A540, in parish of HESWALL (WIRRAL District), was on A540 presumably at site of WKCH06, is now in private woodland at Manor Wood. Erected by the Chester, Neston & Woodside Ferry turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- WOODSIDE FERRY 8 Merseyside HER. https://www.heritagegateway.org.uk/Gateway/Results_Single.aspx?uid=3314306&resourceID=1970 Milestone Society National ID: CH_WSFC08.
