Carved stone post by the A683, in parish of TUNSTALL (LANCASTER District), Kirkby Road: between Old Vicarage and Knight Errant cottage, in pavement, back to low stone garden wall, on East side of road. Lancs CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / HORNBY / 4 MILES / LANCASTER / 13 MILES : : TUNSTALL : : TO / KY LONSDALE / 3½ MILES / SEDBERGH / 13 MILES : Grade II listed.
