Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of LLANVEYNOE (District), Pen-pwll-sond; 120m North of Tyback junction, in hedge on narrow verge, on East side of road. Abergavenny stone, erected by the Chepstow District turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- Abergavenny 11 Carved benchmark front lower middle. Herefordshire SMR listed.
