Metal plate attached to stone post by the A1156, in parish of IPSWICH (IPSWICH District), "The Mulberry Tree" PH, 5 Woodbridge Road, at junction with St Margaret's Street, in the beer garden at front of pub, beside brick wall in pavement. Erected by the Ipswich to South Town, & Darsham to Bungay turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : YARMOUTH / 54 / WOODBRIDGE / 7 : : IPSWICH / TO / LONDON / 69 : : St. MARG'T. / P. / COLCHESTER / 18 : Grade II listed.
