Carved stone post by the B1007, in parish of Horndon-on-the hill (THURROCK District), South Hill, 100m East of Lower Dunton Road, by "Hill Drop", by the road, on North side of road. Erected by the Thundersley to Horndon turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- HILL DROP Milestone Society National ID: EX_BITF02.
