Cast iron post by the A34, in parish of SWYNNERTON (STAFFORD District), North of Tittensor, on central reservation, on the verge, in centre of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TRENTHAM 1½ / STOKE 4½ / NEWCASTLE 5 : : TRENTHAM : : STONE 3¼ / STAFFORD 10½ : Maker:- : Chas.
