Stone post (plate lost) by the A44, in parish of MORETON IN MARSH (COTSWOLD District), London Road; 50m East of Cotswolds Business Village, on the verge between path and hedge, on North side of road. Moreton iron plate, erected by the Chapel on the Heath & Bourton on the Hill turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (Moreton / in / Marsh / 1) : : (Chipping / Norton / 7) : Gloucestershire HER listed.
