Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of LYDHAM (SOUTH SHROPSHIRE District), Lower Heblands, by the road, on East side of road. Bishop's Castle arched stone, erected by the Bishop's Castle turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- M(ILES) B'CASTLE 1 Ch.STOKE 4½ W'POOL 1 Grade II listed.
