Metal plate attached to stone post by the A639, in parish of THORPE AUDLIN (WAKEFIELD District), a mile North of junction with the A1, on the verge near brow of hill, opposite 'Slow' sign, on East side of road. Brayshaw & Booth iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century.
