Concrete post by the A140, in parish of HANWORTH (NORTH NORFOLK District), about 475m North of Hanworth Cross, on the verge, on West side of road. NCC concrete, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / CROMER / 5 / MILES : : NCC / MAIN ROAD / HANWORTH : : TO / NORWICH / 17 / MILES : Carved benchmark on top left. Milestone Society National ID: NO_NC17.
