Cast iron post by the A4026, in parish of SHENSTONE (LICHFIELD District), Little Aston Lane, near junction with A454, in front of hedge, on North side of road. Lathe iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : WATFORD GAP 1 / TAMWORTH 9 : : SHENSTONE : : LITTLE - / ASTON ¼ / ALDRIDGE 2¼ / WALSALL 6 : Maker:- : Chas. Lathe, Tipton. : Grade II Listed.
