Metal plate attached to stone post by the UC road, in parish of CHARLTON (TEST VALLEY District), Old Nursery Cottage, in hedge 100m before lay-by, which is on East side of road heading towards Tangley, Milestone is on West side of road. Erected by the Leckford or Sousley Water turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : ANDOVER / II : (Andover 2) Milestone Society National ID: HA_ANHU02.
