Metal plate attached to concrete post by the A38, in parish of WEST HUNTSPILL (SEDGEMOOR District), Main Road, near Hotel at Huntspill, on grass verge, on East side of road. Bridgewater iron plate, erected by the Bridgwater turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 6 Miles to BWATER Grade II listed.
