The milestone is located on the grass verge, on the west side of road. Parish of St Cuthbert Out (Mendip District). Cast iron post, plated iron casting design, erected by the Wells turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : WELLS / 3 / MILES : : B / WATER / 17 : : GLASTON / 3 / MILES : Grade II Listed.
