Cast iron post by the A137, in parish of LAWFORD (TENDRING District), Harwich Road, by the road, on North side of road, next to bus stop. Bendall iron casting, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : HARWICH / 14 : : LAWFORD / TO / LONDON / 58 : : C BENDALL / ENGINEERS / LAWFORD / 1893 : : COLCHESTER / 7 : Milestone Society National ID: EX_COHH58.
