Carved stone post by the B4385, in parish of BISHOPS CASTLE (SOUTH SHROPSHIRE District), West of Heblands junction; 260m South of Heblands Cottages, by the road, on North side of road. Bishops Castle arched stone, erected by the Bishops Castle turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- MILES B CASTLE 1 MtGOMERY 8 Carved benchmark top centre. Grade II Listed.
