Carved stone post by the B5293, in parish of GREAT ECCLESTON (WYRE District), Raikes Road, in village, on North side of road. Lancs CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : GARSTANG / 6¼ MILES / LANCASTER / 17 MILES : : GREAT ECCLESTON : : GT ECCLESTON / ¼ MILE / POULTON-LE-FYLDE / 6¼ MILES / BLACKPOOL / 10 MILES : Grade II Listed. List Entry Number: 1073069 Milestone Society National ID: LA_BPGS10.
