Stone post (plate lost) by the A5183/A4147, in parish of ST ALBANS (ST ALBANS District), junction of Redbourn Road with Batchwood Drive, set in concrete on verge, on North side of road. St Albans plate, erected by the Pondyards (St Albans) & Barnet turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : LONDON / 21 / REDBOURN / 3 : Carved benchmark on front face. Milestone Society National ID: HE_LH21.
