The milestone is located south of Stanton Lacy turn, in the grass verge on the east side of the road. Parish of Stanton Lacy (South Shropshire District). Carved stone post, Ludlow stone design, erected by the Ludlow (first district) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Now broken. Image taken between April 2009 and July 2011. Inscription reads:- TO / LUDLOW III / Miles Grade II Listed. List Entry Number: 1269837 Milestone Society National ID: SA_LDBN03
