Carved stone post by the A58, in parish of WESTHOUGHTON (BOLTON District), Dobb Brow, in front of No.273, by the South side of road. Lancs CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Inscription reads:- : TO / WIGAN / 4¾ / MILES : : WESTHOUGHTON : : TO / BOLTON / 6 MILES / MANCHESTER / 14 MILES : Milestone Society National ID: LA_BOWG06.
