Carved stone post by the A590, in parish of COLTON (SOUTH LAKELAND District), North of Greenodd, on grass verge in Southbound layby, on East side of road. Lancs CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th/20th century. Re-located from original position further South. Inscription reads:- : TO / ULVERSTON 4 MLS / BARROW 12¼ " : : COLTON : : TO / GRANGE 11¾ MLS / KENDAL 22 " / LANCASTER 33 " : Milestone Society National ID: LA_LABA33.
