Cast iron post by the B2130, in parish of DUNSFOLD (WAVERLEY District), Dunsfold Road, junction with Stovolds Hill, Pains Hill, on the verge under trees, on North side of road. Guildford iron casting, erected by the Godalming & Painshill turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : HORSHAM / 12 : : BRIGHTON / 34 : : GODALMING / 6 : Maker:- : WILLIAMS & FILMER / GUILDFORD / FOUNDRY. : Milestone Society National ID: SY_HOGO12.
