Carved stone post by the A682, in parish of SWINDEN (CRAVEN District), near entrance to Goosemere Height Farm, on the verge, on East side of road. Gisburn stone, erected by the Gisburne and Long Preston turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : To / Gisburn / 5 / Miles : : To / Settle / 6 / Miles : Carved benchmark ground off on top. Grade II listed.
