Carved stone post (plate lost) by the A495, in parish of ELLESMERE RURAL (NORTH SHROPSHIRE District), Welsh Frankton, back of lay-by. Erected by the Ellesmere to Oswestry turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- (Ellesmere 3) (Oswestry 5) Milestone Society National ID: SA_ELOW03.
