Stone post (plate lost) by the A2, in parish of FAVERSHAM (SWALE District), Canterbury Road, East of junction with Preston Park, Preston, in pavement back to brick boundary wall, on North side of road. Dover Road facet, erected by the Chatham & Canterbury turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription once read:- : (London 47) : : (Canterbury 8) : Milestone Society National ID: KE_LD47.
