Carved stone post by the B6254, in parish of ARKHOLME WITH CAWOOD (LANCASTER District), Higher Broomfield, Arkholme, Farm Entrance, on West side of road. Lancashire CC stone triangle, erected by the County Council in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : KY LONSDAL(E) / 4½ MILES : : CARNFORTH / 6½ MILES / LANCASTER / 11 MILES : Grade II listed.
