Carved stone post by the B3183 (was A30), in parish of EXETER (EXETER District), Fore Street, Heavitree, opposite No.149, in an alcove within a stone retaining wall, hard against the road edge, on South side of road. Exeter granite facets, erected by the Exeter turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- : 15 / Miles to / Honiton / 1 / Mile to / Exeter : : 175 / Miles / to / London : : 1 / Mile to / Exeter / 15 / Miles to / Honiton : Milestone Society National ID: DV_HNEX15.
