Carved stone post by the A129, in parish of RAMSDEN CRAYS (BASILDON District), Crays Hill, by London Road, on West side of road. Erected by the Rochford Hundred (Division of Essex First District) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- TO LONDON 27 MILES Milestone Society National ID: EX_BWRY27.
