Metal plate attached to stone post by the A522, in parish of CHEADLE (STAFFORDSHIRE MOORLANDS District), Harewood, North West of roundabout, in hedge, on East side of road. Leek iron plate, erected by the Cheadle (5 Districts) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- LEEK 9 CHEADLE 1 Carved benchmark front top centre. Grade II listed.
