The milestone is located on the old road to Okehampton, at the entrance gate to Hurdwick Farm, on the grass verge by the left hand wall, on the west side of road. Parish of Tavistock (West Devon district). Carved stone post, early Tavistock stone design, erected by the Tavistock turnpike trust in the 18th century.
