Carved stone post by the UC road, in parish of RUARDEAN (FOREST OF DEAN District), at junction, on grass verge, on North side of road. Ross Forest stone, erected by the Forest of Dean turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- 2 MILE / TO / NAIL / BRIDGE // TO / ROSS // 2[?] MILE / TO / CINDERFORD Milestone Society National ID: GL_RSNB05
