Cast iron plate by the A435, in parish of COUGHTON (STRATFORD ON AVON District), Birmingham Road, 30m North of Coughton Cross, just South of footpath to Coughton Court, set in low red brick wall of Coughton Court boundary, on East side of road. Bromsgrove Plate, erected by the Stratford to Bromsgrove (Alcester) turnpike trust in the 19th century. Inscription reads:- FROM BS_GROVE 11 TO ALCESTER 2 MILES Grade II listed.
