We police over 1,500 square miles; are home to a significant transport network including the M27 and M3, key rail hubs and two international airports; and critical national infrastructure.

Hilsea, Copnor, Drayton and Farlington Neighbourhood

Situated within the city of Portsmouth are Hilsea and Copnor which are two areas that are located to the northern and eastern side of Portsea Island. Hilsea is home to The Mountbatten Centre, which offers the City''s widest range of leisure and sport facilities. Hilsea is also home to the Portsmouth Rugby Club and Hilsea Lido. The area of Hilsea is densely populated with various private and social housing and a small industrial estate. The Green Farm Public House and Restaurant situated on Copnor Road mark the site of the last working farm in Portsmouth
Copnor is the area located on the Eastern side, it was one of the three villages listed as being on Portsea Island in the "Doomsday Book". The west of the district is now a predominantly residential area of 1930s housing. There is also an industrial and commercial area. In 1972 Portsmouth Airport was closed following a number of accidents and the land was subsequently used for further commercial and residential development and was named Anchorage Park.

Youths jumping on to the buses when they are parked up.
Damage being caused to buses in the depot.

Youth nuisance and intimidation of the public walking through the area.

Drug dealing

* Shell Petrol Station -
Numerous thefts that are going unreported.
Intimidation of staff.
Youths attempting to gain entry into the shop when the door is locked.

* Southdown View -
Damage being caused to the communal area.
Drug taking in the building.
Intimidation of residents within the block.

* Community beat surgeries to be arranged in the area.
* Businesses to be spoken to and linked in with to encourage reporting.
* Positive action to be taken on all offenders if there is evidence available.
* ABC's / CPNw's to be issued to those causing the issues.
