Carved stone post by the A63, in parish of MICKLEFIELD (LEEDS District), old A1 junction A63 Selby Road, at North West corner of house, formerly The Boot and Shoe PH, on West side of road. Erected by the Leeds & Selby turnpike trust in the 18th century. Inscription once read:- : (Leeds 10 : : Selby 10) : Milestone Society National ID: YW_SYLE10.
