Located at 6 Wallingford Road, this TE is of a standard design dating from the early 1970s when several were built to replace the old smaller redbrick TEs. It has the code THCLY and provides telephone and broadband services to 1,484 residential and 38 non-residential premises in Cholsey plus Moulsford nearby. The wording TELEPHONE EXCHANGE has been removed from above the entrance of this TE, as "Telecom Building" would perhaps be a more accurate description of its present day functions. Also, two square white BT warning notices can be seen to the left of the entrance. The numbering ranges of this TE are (01491) 651xxx, 652xxx, the (01491) referring to the Henley-on-Thames group of ten TEs, and its postcode is OX10 9LQ.
