No 20 lies at the righthand end of a short row of terraced shops, built around 1800, and collectively Grade II listed https://britishlistedbuildings.co.uk/101254862-18-19-and-20-st-marys-street-shrewsbury#.XC3AU1z7RPY in 1953. It's believed that the shop frontage here is original, which makes it well over 200 years old now.
