This cinema on Brixton Hill was opened in 1911 and was the 13th of Montagu A Pyke’s chain of Cinematograph Theatres to open in London and its suburbs. By the early 1950s it was the Clifton Cinema, but it closed in 1957 and the auditorium is said to have been demolished. It subsequently became a camping store, then a restaurant, and now the TAMI Gospel Centre. Despite its history it is not nationally Listed. Previous images of it on Geograph can be seen here:- 2012:- Image] 2018:- Image]
