Located at the Etihad Campus, Mo was created by Donna Newman "in remembrance of Mo Done, a proud Salfordian, a supporter of many Manchester charities and an integral part of Sports Tours International's history, In 2019 the Bee will become synonymous with the company's new charitable initiative, The Running Bee Foundation, which will donate funds from their organised running events across Manchester and the North West to promote health & wellbeing and fight against child obesity." It is sponsored by Sports Tours International https://www.sportstoursinternational.co.uk/home/about/ which was founded in 1973.
