This woodland occupies 13 acres of former farmland to the north of Eynsham village and the A40. It is part of a nationwide 'woods on your doorstep' project and was planted in December 2000 in celebration of the millennium. Most of the trees are oak and ash, with field maple, wild cherry and crab apple. It is managed by the Woodland Trust.
