St Wilfrid, Harrogate - baptistery

The baptistery is an apsidal raised area at the west end of the nave. It contains a large font in memory of a young man who had died in 1911, shortly before construction of the church began. The metal sculpture taking the place of a traditional font cover is a later addition from the 1960s.
